The clients were very happy with the layout of their kitchen but felt the overall look was dated and no longer suited their home. They knew the space had good bones and did not require a full renovation, and were keen to retain the existing benchtop and splashback while achieving a more refined and up to date finish.

The focus of this project was on updating the cabinetry to completely change the look and feel of the kitchen. We completed a full facelift, replacing all doors, drawer fronts, panels and handles, while also upgrading all drawers to soft close for improved functionality. To elevate the design, the island was finished in a spruce matt colour to create a strong feature and ground the space, while the surrounding cabinetry was kept in a warm white to maintain a light and open feel. As this facelift involved only cabinetry components, the process was quick and hassle free, with the transformation completed in just a few days. The result is a warm, high end kitchen that feels completely renewed, with the clients amazed at how dramatically the space changed without replacing the benchtop or splashback.
