The existing kitchen had a distinctly dated feel, with 90s-style wood-look laminate doors, a terracotta square-tiled splashback and black granite benchtops. The curved island also limited usable bench space and seating.

To modernise the space, we introduced a contemporary combination of woodgrain and solid-colour cabinetry, complemented by clean, straight lines and waterfall ends to maximise the island and create more practical seating. The same porcelain used on the benchtops was carried up the splashback, creating a seamless and cohesive finish.

By retaining the existing cabinetry, layout and flooring, we were able to completely refresh the look and functionality of the kitchen without the need for a full replacement.
